Hello all

I hope you’re doing well. I also hope you can make our Board meeting this coming Tuesday Aug 11, 3pm CDT. Can you? Please reply!

We have an awesome new sister project in Costa Rica, and Veronica (steward) will be joining our Tuesday board meeting to aim to ‘formalize’ our partnership.

It seems like a great opportunity to streamline our agreement (if/however needed) and, if you’re willing, to also ‘formalize’ your projects as partners if you're not already. That means putting them on our website (as you choose to be presented, and all the projects there need an update), agreeing to the core principles, and agreeing to let us help you share stuff at the MAP or wherever else you choose to repose your information - again, what you choose to share, on your terms. And we can modify our agreement to suit everyone, that’s been the desire. Those who are partners already, I'd like to help you put more info on the MAP, or at least point to your web presences from there and from our site if they're not updated.

There’s also a possibility of holding a Solidarity Summit sometime between late Aug-September (or whenever suits most of us), so these are some good times to aim to shore ourselves up.

What do you think? Here’s the current pilot site application, and again we’re happy to modify it, moving from the ‘pilot site’ to ‘partner project’ framework.

Want to make it official?

Either way, can you join our board meeting on Tuesday to welcome our Costa Rica sisters? 3pm CDT, same zoom, same everything as usual. I’ll attach the Costa Rica answers to this board reminder. It’s really cool to be getting to know them! and another great reason to move as quickly as we can to being multi-lingual. more on that at the board meeting, etc...

take care

ps please feel free to follow up with me one-on-one, but know my time is kinda limited and sporadic until Monday
